Speaking of "hot" we should probably mention how heated the contest environment has been getting lately. It's late July and the summer heat is creeping into the bar scene. Normally the heat wouldn't be such an issue, but when you combine it with a crowd of hootin' and hollerin' guys and girls that are cheering on the next Carp Calendar Cutie you end up with one hot & sweaty evening. This isn't bad if you're one of the girls up on stage, but if you're in the crowd you may want to get yourself enough cold beer to last you through the entire swimsuit competition.
The T & C Roundabout is located right on the corner of County Hwy S and State Hw 124. You really can't miss it since it's the closest bar to the actual "roundabout" you meet when these two highways collide.

Round 2 Swimsuit Competition

Each week the contest begins with a full spectrum of different body-types and hair-color. Girls with tattoos and/or piercings and those without, all of them great-looking and fantastic up on the stage. But each time there had been one girl, and sometimes maybe two girls that were noticeably a step above the rest as far as their chances for being a Calendar Girl went. This week something weird happened. Apparently the judges were hit with three such girls and they just couldn't decide on a winner. Each judge had a different winner in mind!
In order to break the stalemate, the judges would have to turn to the crowd to ask the question, "who would be the Winner and Miss September 2009?" After going back and forth through each contestant again, the crowd decided with their cheers that the "HARD" Dawn Anderson would come out on top! Congratulations to Dawn on becoming Miss September for the 2009 Carp Calendar!
