The Pioneer Grill & Saloon is a large establishment with sectioned off seating for your dining pleasure and a HUGE backyard. Outdoor seating and beach volleyball are situated near the outdoor bar area. Even though it would rain for a short portion of the early evening, the inclement weather would not discourage any of the attendees including the beach volleyball players would continued to serve right through the slight downpour.
Tonight would be Week 8 for the Carp Calendar Cutie Contest and it's hard to believe that we're already 2/3 of the way through. With only four chances left to become a Carp Calendar Girl after tonight perhaps it's not as surprising there were so many contestants on hand.

This contest should have been the hardest contest to date to judge, but there were four girls that looked like they had just come off a Cutie Calendar somewhere so we were able to quickly drop down to four semi-finalists. It was at this point where difficulty set in and it seemed like we were second-guessing ourselves throughout the semi-finals as well as the finals. Luckily the crowd was there for us and rather than leaving the stage to meet a head-on lynching we allowed them to assist us in choosing a Winner.
Our winner for this evening would end up being Miss "Ghetto Booty!" herself - Tracy! Congratulations to Tracy on becoming Miss August for the 2009 Carp Calendar!
