Just by entering the front door it is easy to see that they've put a lot of hard work into putting together a great bar to continue carrying on their name-sake. Our DJ for the evening is Shawnzilla and bar manager Josh has put together a runway for the girls to compete on that is complete with VIP seating otherwise known as "stripper row."

Round 2 Swimsuit Competition
We've been to every Carp Calendar Cutie Contest this year and we've seen what each bar has put together for the contestants as well as for the crowd and the Happy Hollow Tavern certainly outdid themselves with this runway! The setup at the Happy Hollow was by far the best setup we've seen for any of the contests. The runway made it possible for everyone in the crowd to get a nice view of the ladies that they were cheering for and gave the girls a large area where they could properly advertise their "wares."
The finals for this week would be Cloe, Trish, and Abbigale. As you probably already know from the information above, Cloe is our winner and takes the Miss April position for the 2009 Carp Calendar; but we're fairly certain, and the judges would agree, that each of these other great looking girls definitely have a chance to make it on the Calendar if they head on out to another one of the contests!

Reminder: Thursday, June 19th, the Carp Calendar Cutie Contest takes place at the Silver Dollar Saloon & Brick Co. aka "The Buck" in Menomonie, Wisconsin. Take a trip with us out west and hopefully this week's contest will welcome some new talent as well as those contestants from previous weeks that definitely have what it takes to become a Calendar Girl!
